Uncle Ralph McDaniels brought Music Video to us in the hood first. His Show Video Music Box introduced Grand Master Flash, Fat Boys, Run DMC, Jay Z, Biggie, Nas, Tupac, you name it, old school, new school he was first. There was no MTV, BET, or whatever when he started. That’s what’s RAW in the streets.

When was the last time you ever needed water and it was not available? How about if the only water available is sewage water? How important would “ice” on a chain or ring mean to you in this case? If you got, give back where you can. That’s what’s RAW in the streets.

Rapper Rick Ross gave back to the community yesterday (August 4th) at the North Miami Athletic Stadium. Rick Ross, Ace Hood, Trina, Triple C’s and others were on hand to give out back packs, school supplies and other items the children need to succeed in school. In addition to free food, youngsters received free haircuts and free performances. And he was also honored with his own day, when North Miami Mayor Andre Pierre Presented him with a “Rick Ross Day” proclamation.
